Arrive with Ease: Our Complimentary Shuttle

Your Alaskan adventure should feel effortless from the moment you arrive. At Resurrection Lodge on the Bay, we are pleased to offer a complimentary shuttle service to help you transition smoothly from your point of arrival to the tranquility of our lodge.

Whether you are arriving by train, bus, or cruise ship, our friendly team is here to greet you and handle the logistics, so you can focus on the breathtaking views of the bay.

How it works:

Convenient Connections: We provide seamless transfers between the Lodge and local transport hubs, including the train depot, bus station, and cruise ship terminals.
Personalized Service: To ensure we’re ready for you, please let us know your arrival details at least 24–72 hours in advance.
Flexible Planning: Our shuttle runs daily between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM. If your travel plans take you outside of these hours, don’t worry—Seward has excellent taxi options available, and we are always happy to help you coordinate your arrival.

Shuttle Details

TRAIN– If you are arriving by train normally at 11:20am Please retrieve your luggage and meet our white passenger van parked next to the metal fence. Your room won’t be available till later in the afternoon, so we can transport your luggage to the lodge and drop you off in town or at a tour office for an afternoon excursion. We can supply you with a list of Taxis that can be contacted when your room is available for check-in.

If you are departing by train,normally 6pm, we can transport you to the train station at 10:45 a.m., where you can check-in your luggage. You will have the whole afternoon to explore until your train leaves at 6 p.m.

CRUISE-Arriving at the cruise port, The earliest we pick you up from the cruise port is 9 am; please have your luggage and be ready outside waiting to be picked up.Please be watching for our white passenger van with Resurrection Lodge on it. When entering the pickup area, we need a good cell number to contact you. Once picked up, we can transport your luggage to the lodge and drop you off in town or a tour office. We will supply you with a list of taxis to use when your room is available later in the afternoon.

CRUISE– Departing at the cruise port, We can transport you to the cruise port baggage drop-off area at 10:45 am . From there, you can check in for your cruise, or we can drop you at a tour excursion office or back in town.

BUS– if arriving or departing by bus please contact us for details. There are several bus lines which pick up and depart from differnt locations around seward. Please note that our normal shuttle hours are 9am to 12pm.

Note: There is a Free Shuttle that loops Seward from the port, train, Seward Chamber of Commerce ( grocery store next door), harbor, and downtown area. There are several, and they run about every 15 to 20 minutes.
